Objective : |

At the end of the
course, the student would : |
- the practice
of integrating clinical and laboratory diagnosis and knowledge of
therapeutics in the management of clinical case
- the outline of
key legislations of veterinary jurisprudence in Malaysia
- an
understanding and appreciation of the role of veterinarians in society

Synopsis : |
This course is a
continuation of VPK 3700 and semester VII vacation practicals. Students
are rotated through the various clinical and diagnostics units whereas
lectures are arranged at the first four weeks of the semester.
Students are
required to attend Small Animal Rounds, Large Animal Rounds, Post-mortem
Rounds and Clinical Conference. Students are encouraged to present and
discuss cases during the rounds |

Based on attendance, attitude and
participation in the clinical and laboratory activities, discussions,
case reports and short quizzes (if required) throughout the course. In
the end, students will be given either a SATISFACTORY or an
UNSATISFACTORY grade. Students who obtain UNSATISFACTORY will have to
repeat the course.

‘Paraclinical Round’ and ‘Clinical Conference’. is required.
