Synopsis:

Main research will focus on dealing swine disease that have great economic important to the swine industry, improved the disease control and diagnostic procedure, while enhanced the swine husbandry management. Research work will be concentrated on dealing with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2), porcine respiratory and reproduction syndrome (PPRS), classical swine fever (CSF), Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia (APP), Mycoplasma hyopneumonia (SEP).

In addition, the research work included establishment of molecular diagnostic tools and genetic characterisation of local serotype and serogroup of disease. While enhanced the swine husbandry for disease management. The knowledge obtains will beneficial for non-ruminant disease prophylactic and therapeutic purpose.
