Surgery and Anaesthesiology

The section provides service and consultancy for primary and referral cases. There are operating theatre facilities for both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. Anaesthesia is by either inhalation or several choices of parentral anaesthesia. The section has surgeries for both small and large animals. The large animal surgery has both recumbent and standing surgical facilities. Most patients are cats and dogs. Others include goats, sheep, cattle, buffaloes, zoo birds and zoo animals. A central sterile supply unit provides sterile instruments, laundry, fluids and others

Radiology and Ultrasonography

This unit provides services on radiology and ultrasonography for pregnancy diagnosis and other diagnostic work for small and large animals.
