Quality Policy

We, the staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine are committed towards excellence through the inculcation of quality culture in teaching, research and professional service, to fulfill the satisfactions of our clients as well as to improve continuously to conform to the requirements of ISO 9000:2000."

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has identified eight (8) main business processes namely:

1.  Teaching  -  Undergraduates
2.  Teaching  -  Postgraduates
3.  Research
4.  Professional Services  -  University Veterinary Hospital
5.  Professional Services  -  Continuing Education
6.  Professional Services  -  Consultancy
7.  Administrative and Support Services
8.  Management

Processes 1-7 are under the responsibility of the three Deputy Deans and the Hospital Director and Process 8 is under the Management Representative.  Each Deputy Dean and the Hospital Director have formed a team comprising both academic and supporting staff, in particular to prepare procedures and other documents.
